ESD Velcro Strap
The Velcro Tray Strap is an ESD Safe Velcro retaining strap designed to be used with device handling trays. Its anti-static and static dissipative properties produce excellent protection for ESD sensitive products. It produces less than 100 volts of trio-electricity during separation of the hooks and loops.
The strap's static dissipative property helps distribute any generated charges throughout the strap and drain them to the ground.
Static Control Properties:
Resistance: 10e9 - 10e10 ohms (ASTM-D257-90)
Static Charge Decay: 0.1 sec (MIL-B-81705B, STD 101B, Method 4046, 5KV to 5V)
Tribo-charging: Less than 100 volts/inch (Using Trek 344 electrostatic voltmeter, while peeling the strap)
